The Zillertal Alps, the high mountain nature Park, are full of impressions - the landscape stretches over almost 80 glaciers, three reservoirs as well as mountain and corrie lakes.
The valley also offers a diverse summer world with unforgettable experiences and a colourful variety of outdoor activities.

Walkers and mountaineers will find a variety of tours in the Zillertal National Park. There choice of routes in the great outdoors ranges from easy to difficult. Experience the unspoilt landscape of the Zillertal Alps on well-maintained trails with a total length of more than 200 km.

Climbing in the Zillertal
You will find 3 'via ferrate' of different levels of difficulty in the Zillertal. The "Zimmereben Klettersteig" is aimed at advanced climbers and professionals, with a difficulty rating of C/ D+, whilst the "Huterlaner Klettersteig", because of its family friendly route, is ideal for family outings with children aged from 10 years upwards.
You'll find real Alpine adventure in the "Ewige Jagdgründen" with routes ranging from grade 4 to 10!
Mountainbiking in Mayrhofen
The cycle paths and mountain bike trails will take you past Alpine meadows, through forests and streams up to an altitude of 2000 m. Breathtaking views, which make you forget all the effort required, and the anticipation of a speedy descent are just some of the reasons for a cycling holiday in the Zillertal. All those who prefer a gentler pace can enjoy a cycling trip along the wide valley floor.
